Hanging Around Isn't Going to Make Anything Happen

For this film Thomas knew he wanted a sounddesign heavy score for his film, so to flip the usual approach I joined him on set to record sounds around the different scenes and used that as a base layer for the music.

The line between sound design and music blends as the rhythm of turbines turn into dark rave tracks and vice versa. The film portrays denial and loneliness, a strong sense of hopeless desperation portrayed in the characters. It was a very intense but rewarding experience to create such an emotional longer soundtrack to this film that followed the character’s journey.
